OUR PROJECTS
ALDI DONATES TO AWUDOME Primary & J.H.S
4th Nov, 2015

BACKGROUND

Victoria Michaels Foundation kicked off the $500 ALDI Education project by stocking Awudome primary and JHS with over 1,500 books.

She loves to read whenever she’s free and believes reading good materials adds value to an individual’s life as well as improve his/her ability to better understand and relate to people from different backgrounds and cultures. Based on Victoria’s love and passion for reading, she decided to donate some reading books to the Awudome Cluster of Schools on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, as a way of celebrating my birthday. She believes this gesture will make a difference in the lives of these students who have great potential to become global leaders in the near future.

Victoria’s ultimate dream is to create libraries in some selected schools so that deprived students whose parents cannot afford to buy them reading books can have access to these books from their school’s libraries. Every child deserves an opportunity to read and that can only happen when they have access to books.
